TSHA – Sad Girl
TSHA returns to Ninja Tune with her eclectic sophomore album Sad Girl on 27th September 2024. Her most danceable work to date, Sad Girl sees TSHA explore genres, finding joy in hedonism and escapism whilst also addressing difficult feelings and revelling in the sadness. Featuring a host of talented artists including Dan Whitlam, Caroline Byrne, Rose Gray, Master Peace and more, TSHA also lends her own vocal talents to Sad Girl.
TSHA was nominated for the Best Dance Act at the 2023 MOBO Awards, also earning a Grammy nomination for her writing work on Diplo’s single “Let You Go”.
Previous album Capricorn Sun topped the UK Official Dance Albums Chart on release, and was named Dance Album of the Year 2022 at both the DJ Mag Best of British Awards and the Radio 1 Dance Awards!
Sad Girl drops towards the end of TSHA’s recently announced huge 17-date IBISHA tour 2024, where she’ll be playing to almost 100,000 fans across iconic Ibiza clubs such as DC10, Pacha, Hï Ibiza, Amnesia and Ushuaïa.
2024 also sees TSHA playing UK festivals such as All Points East, Junction 2, and Parklife, following two incredible years playing to packed out crowds at Glastonbury (UK), Coachella (US), AVA (UK), Primavera (ES), and MELT (DE).
TSHA has supported the likes of The Chemical Brothers (The O2), Disclosure (Alexandra Palace + Brixton Academy), Fred again.. at the LA Shrine Auditorium and Flume on his US tour, including a date at the famous Red Rocks Amphitheatre.
TSHA joined forces with Ellie Golding (who hit TSHA up to tell her she loved her work) and Gregory Porter to create the huge single “Somebody”.
