Hearing Aid Beige – Drifting
The music ranges from Brian Wilson-esque confessionals with kaleidoscopic nods to the past, to laid back indie pop influenced by the likes of Mac Demarco and Connan Mockasin. The result is a sort of Devon hammock rock, with the country lanes and coastal vistas woven into nostalgic vocal harmonies, bendy guitar lines, dreamy choruses and pastel colours.
Following the release of 3 EPs – Out to Sea (2018), So Easy (2019) and Isn’t it Nice (2020) – the long anticipated full length debut album will be released on vinyl and digital download on 28th Oct 2022. The band has received amazing support from BBC Music Introducing over the years with radio play across regional shows as well as BBC 6 Music. After signing to Mexico City based label PYL Records in 2019, the band have been gaining support from abroad as well as at home and to celebrate the release of the record, the band will be doing a short run of dates in Mexico this October and look forward to booking extensive UK & EU shows in 2023.
