Recorded in 1968, Introducing Kenny Cox and The Contemporary Jazz Quintet was the debut album by this under-recognised Detroit band led by pianist Kenny Cox which featured trumpeter Charles Moore, tenor saxophonist Leon Henderson, bassist Ron Brooks, and drummer Danny Spencer.
